Ahmed Shary rahman

Ahmed Shary Rahman, known as “Shary” to his friends, serves as the President of BEXIMCO's Textiles, Apparel, and PPE divisions. He has played a pivotal role in launching one of Bangladesh's most ambitious industrial sustainability projects — the BEXIMCO Industrial Park. Often referred to as the "Lungs of Gazipur," this state-of-the-art facility is establishing new standards for sustainable industrial practices in the region.

Located in Gazipur, the park boasts over 300,000 trees and is the only USGBC-certified LEED Green Campus in Bangladesh. This certification highlights the park’s dedication to minimizing its environmental footprint. With an annual reduction of approximately 1,210 metric tons of CO2, the park also gives back to the community by distributing 500 trees each year, promoting environmental awareness and local engagement.
