In the heart of Bangladesh, Beximco’s industrial park is setting a new standard for sustainable manufacturing. Known as the “Lungs of Gazipur,” it is home to over 300,000 trees, a zoo, and numerous facilities designed to ensure the health and happiness of its employees.
However, the park is more than just a place to work. Its green initiatives contribute to a reduction of around 1,210 metric tons of CO2 equivalent annually — akin to taking hundreds of cars off the road each year. That’s like taking hundreds of cars off the road each year! Additionally, Beximco distributes about 500 trees to local communities annually, spreading the environmental benefits beyond its borders.
